The popular University of Avellino ( Italy) organizes in Casalbore (Italy),  in collaboration with the Nova Abellinum, under the sponsorship of the provincial administration of Avellino and the sponsorship of the commune of  Casalbore:

STUDY DAYS ON THE BALANCE OF POSTURAL DEFICIT BY A NEURO-BIO-MECHANIC AND SENSO-MOTORIAL APPROACH

Subtitle: POSTUROLOGY = ANALYSIS, GLOBAL APPROACH AND THERAPY OF THE DYSFUNCTIONAL SYNDROMES  OF THE ORGANISM
The study days are accredited at the ministry of health for doctors, rehabilitation's therapists and podologists and grant to the participating people
24 educational credits for doctors and rehabilitation's therapists
21 educational credits for podologists
The congress is structured as an educational pathway aimed to acquire a clear analysis and global approach method, and therapeutic proposals within the dysfunctional syndromes of the organism.
These syndromes are treated by a 360° approach, not only at the locomotor apparatus level, but also at the levels of all other organs and apparatuses, by paying attention also to the psycho-behavioural involvement of the patient.
The most important, both national and foreign, experts of the different disciplines will report about the following subjects:
1. Neurophysiology of the posture;
2. Clinical analysis of the patient (reading of the radiographs, abdomen, cavity);
3. Scientifical background of the postural approach;
4. Receptors:
· eye;
· Labyrinth;
· Mandible;
· Breathing;
· swallowing;
· sole of the foot;
5. Integrated psycho-somatic analysis of the patient;
6. Experimental trials and proved clinical results;

Short historical essay on the royal cattle track

The transhumance is the a seasonal movement of  livestock beetwen two complementary pastures; the mountain, exploited above all durig the summer, and the valley exploited during the winter. This seasonal migrations moved along great grass pathways "the royal cattle tracks", that creates a roads network of about  3000 km following three main directions:
1. the cattle track  L’Aquila – Foggia
2. the cattle track Celano – Foggia
3. the cattle track Pescasseroli – Candela
The royal cattle tracks were strictly ruled in order to avoid possible conflict with the peasants living along the three main roads, and to avoind conflicts among the shepherds on the use of the shelters, or of  the place where they could have a rest and of the shep cotes. This set of rules was introduced by the Aragoneses  during the XV century according to the pattern of the spanish “Mesta”.
The most notable thing is that the cattle tracks overlap perfectly  some stretch to the ancient roman roads, such as:
· the via Valeria, which is overlapped by the cattle track Celano – Foggia ;
· the via Claudia Nova, which is overlapped by the cattle track L’Aquila – Foggia;
· the via Minucia, that corresponds to a strech of the the cattle track Celano – Foggia and to a stretch of the cattle track Pescasseroli – Candela.
About three millions heads of cattle moved along the cattle tracks during ‘600 and ‘700 triggering a rich economy  through the sale of hides, cheeses, and the large amount of wool that was stored in the storerooms of the  “Dogana della Mena delle Pecore” in Foggia. This kind of economy attracted purchasers coming from the north of Italy, but also from the north of Europe such as the spinners from the Flanders. This rich economy influenced the economic development of the highland area of Abruzzo, of the whole Molise, the the Apulia's lowland and some areas of the Basilicata and of the Campania.
The cattle tracks were real roads and along them the shepherds and their cattle could find the so called  “poste”, a kind of  structures for service, which could offer a shelter for the night, open cotes for the sheeps, the so called “jazzi”, churches and pagliai built of loose stones.
The cattle track crossing Casalbore is the one reaching from Pescasseroli to Candela and is certainly one of the most ancient european roads. It is 196 km long, and starts nearby the sources of the river Sangro along the border with the territory of  Gioia (AQ) and Pescasseroli (AQ), and crosses the whole territory of the Molise and a strech of the Campania, ending in Apulia in the town of Candela (FG).
The cattle tracks are uunanimously recognised to have played a very important role in the history and in the economy and in the development of the regions they crossed. Beside their main economic and commercial function, the cattle tracks had also an important cultural function that didn't change through the centuries and that was characterised by the fact that they were also a way to comunicate, share and transmit usages and costums, and cultural and expressive pattern among the different people living in that area.
Nowadays beside the above mentioned functions, we also notice a revival of attention paid to the natural, historical and archeological aspects of the cattle tracks, and of the enogastronomic and artisan richness of the involved regions.
Due to the peculirity of the tracks and of the guided tours we suggest to use gym or trekking's outfit.
