This 79-year old patient had a remarkable deviation of the vertebral column and complained of a pain spread over the spine in addition to a burning soreness between the shoulder blades. Examination carried on January 23, 2002 through the 3D VRS Formetric device showed a remarkable 15 mm. pelvic tilt, equivalent to a 9.7 degree of torsion, with a scoliosis curve at lumbar level. 66.9 degree kyphotic angle (ka) and plain disharmonious vertebral rotation. The following day this outcome was confirmed by an x-ray of the entire spine, performed in standard and orthostatic projections.
